Erik had been talking about laying some sod in our backyard
for a while. We had a random sticker outbreak that took over a good chunk of
the yard and poor Lulu was getting them in her paws. She started avoiding the
area all together. Erik finally dug them up so we were left with a big, flat
dirt area. He felt inspired a few weekends ago and borrowed his brother’s truck
to start the job.
Lulu went crazy over the new grass. She spent a lot of time
helping her dad work. Every time he would lay a new piece, she would test it
out. She loves to play on her new sod and she especially enjoys going potty on
it. Let’s just hope we can keep it alive through summer!
